Movement Dance Studio has been nurturing dancers for years. Originally based in Metchosin, BC, the studio ran for five successful years, during which we taught over 100 students of all ages.
Now reopened as a home studio in Langford, BC, on Happy Valley Rd we continue to provide Hip Hop dance classes for tots, kids, teens, and adults in a safe, personal, and supportive environment based in the Westshore area.
Our studio features a full mirrored wall, smooth dance floor, and powerful JBL BOOMBOX Bluetooth speaker, creating the perfect environment for dancers to practice, perform, and grow their skills.
We also host small-group Summer Camps, Spring Camps, and Pro-D Day Camps, giving young dancers the opportunity to immerse themselves in fun, creative, and skill-building dance experiences throughout the year.

ABOUT MOVEMENT DANCE STUDIO
At Movement Dance Studio in Langford BC, we keep classes small and personal, so each dancer receives individual guidance and support.
Our lessons combine isolation exercises and rhythm training to build a strong foundation, while Madu’s unique style of editing music to match movement makes it possible for dancers of all levels to experience the satisfaction of perfectly timed hip hop routines, a style of hip hop dance known in Japanese as "oto hame".
With experience teaching dancers of all ages in Canada and Japan, from preschool to high school, including childcare and school settings, and holding a Responsible Adult certification, Madu creates a safe, supportive, and fun environment where kids, teens, and adults can grow their skills, confidence, and creativity.
